\u2018A Few Ordinary Parallel Lines<\/em>\u2019 marks Zhao\u2019s first solo presentation with Ota Fine Arts and in Singapore. This exhibition will feature 21 pieces from the artist\u2019s A Few Ordinary Parallel Lines series (2022 – 2025) \u2013 small, intimate paintings that feature rows of predominantly white, off-white, or pale chromatic grey strips which span across their surfaces horizontally. Upon <\/span>closer observation, one will realise that each row is made up of many small shards \u2013 these are in fact tiny pieces of eggshells.<\/span><\/p>

‘(Re)discovering Shui Tit Sing<\/em>‘ is the first major solo exhibition in nearly four decades dedicated to Shui Tit Sing (1914\u20131997), a pioneering yet under-recognized figure in 20th-century Asian art. The exhibition launches a long-term research and curatorial initiative to reintroduce Shui\u2019s legacy to contemporary audiences and contextualize his contributions within the broader development of modern art in Southeast Asia.<\/p>
